Owner’s Comments
Very reluctantly I’m putting my beautiful Med 40 up for sale. I thought this would be my ‘lifetime’ boat having achieved the dream of buying her 2.5 years ago. Sadly a wife and teenage daughter who want to do other things now mean it’s a luxury I cannot justify keeping. Without doubt she is THE best boat I will ever own.
Built in 1993 she is not your average 32 years ago old boat in terms of condition and maintenance. Service records available on request and extensive history file comes with the boat, along with the Cranchi bag of manuals and handbooks. Excellent 2022 survey.
Alizes is literally in ‘ready to go’ order for the 2025 season. The boat is ashore until mid-March for her annual polish, anti-foul and anode replacement should a potential buyer wish to have a survey carried out while she is ashore.

During 2020/21, carried out by the previous owner but one who was an engineer and owned the boat for 17 years and maintained her meticulously:
Strip antifoul back to gel cost, prime and re-antifoul.
Complete return of cockpit in Silvertex
