The Rodman 1290 Evolution is the long awaited ‘upgrade’ of the legendary Rodman 1250, with the new boat sharing the proven 1250 hull, but there are a whole host of new features to include a new superstructure and interior layout, new hull windows and triple sliding access doors.

The virtual launch material features the first boat to be completed at the Rodman Shipyard, but there is another boat very shortly behind on the production line! When completed, we are looking forward to bringing you more pictures and video of this boat, which will feature the standard interior carpet, as opposed to the synthetic teak decking seen on this first boat.

Sea trials on this first Rodman 1290 Evolution saw the boat, fitted with twin Volvo IPS 600, 440hp engines achieve a maximum speed of 36 knots, and a cruising speed of 22 knots at 2500rpm giving around 75 l/h fuel consumption.
