RBS Marine are delighted to be returning once again to the marina of the Southampton Boat Show, which runs this year from 15th-24th September in Mayflower Park.
As well as a line up of four super boats from Rodman, RBS Marine are debuting two new models from US manufacturer, the White River Group; the Regency 250 LE3 Sport Pontoon boat and a Tracker Targa V19.
Here is a bit of a run down on what you can find on RBS Marine’s berths at the show:
Following the launch of the Rodman 690 Ventura CC at last year’s Southampton Boat Show, we are excited to have the UK Premier of Rodman’s new 790 Ventura CC. This unit also has the optional fibreglass T-Top which looks funky colour coded in blue, with a matching blue hull stripe. Already proven to be a fabulous fishing platform, we entered this boat in the Sea Angling Classic competition back in June with Ben joining a team from Sea Angler magazine. The team finished a fantastic 6th overall in the recreational category against stiff competition, with the boat enabling the team to be among the first on the marks each day. Berth M141A.
Following it’s UK debut last year, we couldn’t not bring Rodman’s newest flagship to the show in the form of the Rodman 1290 Evolution. If you’ve not seen one in the flesh before, now is the time! Try out the new side door, and see the space in the newly laid out saloon, check out the midship guest cabin and see how the light floods the below deck space from the new hull windows. The boat we will have on display is a flybridge version, with the Volvo IPS 600 engines, however the boat can be ordered with shaft driven engines and is also available as a hard top with sliding electric glass roof. Show berth M137.
It wouldn’t be a Southampton Boat Show if we didn’t have a Rodman Spirit 31 on display. This year we’re bringing an outboard version; twin Suzuki DF200’s and some special colour options – denim blue hull with black roof, black boot top line, grey cockpit cover and black screen cover – certainly one to stand out from the crowd! Stock boat, available for immediate delivery. Check out this boat on berth M139.
A super special boat, based on the hull of Rodman’s commercial 33 Patrol, this is one seriously fast fisher. Equipped with twin Suzuki DF300 outboards, she’ll reach speeds of 40+ knots. It’s all about the outside space with this boat; with padded upholstered gunnels, fold down seating, and sun pad and table on the foredeck. However there is still a cabin and separate heads and shower for overnight stays. This particular boat features an elegant grey hull stripe and bespoke side access door in the starboard side gunnel and she is available for immediate delivery to a new owner. Berth M141.
Popular in the USA and Australia, but less commonly seen in the UK, the pontoon boat provides an excellent platform for leisure time on the water, especially inland and sheltered harbours. With space for up to 14 guests on board, super comfortable seats and sun pads, there is plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy your surroundings and good company. If you need a break from the sun, the electric bimini will provide you shade, and there is also a pull up changing compartment for privacy or a portable toilet. Exellent accessibilty with access doors forward and to the port side, with the deck all on one level. This boat is all about entertaining and enjoying the beautiful inland waterways and harbours on offer in the UK. Powered by a 300hp Outboard, the Regency 250 LE3 Sport is also suitable for watersports and faster activities if sitting back with a gin has become boring (never!).
Tracker boats are aluminium, trailable fishing boats that come with the full package to include trailer, navigation equipment and exciting Minn-Kota trolling motor mounted forward. This trolling motor can be operated via foot switch or remote, and can also be set to hold your position, wherever you are fishing. With a deep V and reverse chines, directing spray downwards, you’re in for a drier and more responsive ride. Offering fantastic features not seen on European boats, this is one not to be missed! Come and take a look, berth M136.
