The new Rodman 790 Ventura is now available in a ‘Sun Deck’ version.
As well as the Centre Console (CC) version, the Rodman 790 Ventura is now available as a Sun Deck (SD) version, providing more cabin space and lounging space on deck, making the boat more suitable for those that like to make a weekend of it.
With both versions sharing the same dimensions (LOA: 8.2m) and performance (top speed 42 knots with max 300hp single outboard), lets have a look at the key features of each model and answer some questions you might have…

The key difference between the two versions is space on deck, verses space below deck.
For fishing, or watersports activities when you are just going to be on the water for the day, with perhaps friends and family on board, the 790 Ventura CC is the obvious choice. The space means children and pets can also safely move about the deck, and there is room for sports equipment such as water skis, diving gear or fishing rods. When it’s time to relax, the table can be used in either the forward or aft seating areas for alfresco dining and entertaining. There is still a cabin with seating convertible to a good sized double berth which still makes for a comfortable stopover or chance to recharge your batteries.
For couples who would enjoy to explore and stop overnight in their favourite marina or anchorage, the 790 Ventura SD has all the interior comforts you’d expect from a much larger boat. Galley unit, separate heads compartment and seating/table convertible to berth are all found in the cabin below deck to make for comfortable stays on board. There is still plenty of space to enjoy on deck, and the boat can be equipped with large sunbathing cushion on the foredeck and a sliding aft seat convertible to sunpad. For those that like to sit out on deck, there are optional folding side seats for the cockpit, and the twin helm seats can be replaced with a bench seat with reversable back rest and integrated sink.
The Rodman 790 Ventura CC and SD versions are both competitively priced in their market segment. The 790 Ventura as standard offers the interior V-shaped seating convertible to double berth, and the CC version has the most spacious interior in comparison to competing models.
